Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill - The Budget Day 2008

His Excellency the President Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa presented the Budget for the year 2008 to the House today.
The presentation which started at 1600 hrs yesterday went on till 1730 hrs.

The budget speech is available in all three languages at the official website of the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
