Ministerial Statements

(i)    Hon. (Dr.) Susil Premajayantha, Attorney at Law, Minister of Education made a Ministerial Statement on educational reforms regarding Ordinary Level subjects
(ii)    Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Sajith Premadasa under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 23.07.2024 regarding issues regarding constructing of salt barrier across Nilwala River.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology on the National Security, All Religions, and the Culture of the Country and to take Immediate Measures” was proposed by the Madhura Withanage, Attorney at Law.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1543 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 25th July 2024.
