A group of members of the Entrepreneurs' Organization representing the business and entrepreneurship sector in Sri Lanka visited the Parliament recently. The group was informed about the architectural values and legislative activities of the Parliament.

Following the Parliament tour, they also joined a Question-and-Answer session with the Speaker Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, the Secretary General of Parliament Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera and Director Legislative Services / Director Communications (Acting) Mr. M. Jayalath Perera. The role and experience of the Speaker, the parliamentary system and traditions, the legislative process and the challenges of the parliamentary system were discussed during this session.
