PARLIAMENT

The Secretary General of Parliament Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera requests Hon. Members of Parliament to pay their final respects to Hon. Sampanthan, leader of Illankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) and Member of Parliament as the lying-in-state ceremony is scheduled to be held in Parliament premises on the 3rd of July.

The lying-in-state ceremony is scheduled from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm where the remains of the late Hon. Sampanthan will be kept in the ceremonial hall located in the front of the Parliament building to pay final respects.

Accordingly, the Secretary General of Parliament requests Hon. Members of Parliament, former Members of Parliament, Parliament staff and the affiliated staff of Parliament to pay their final respects to Hon. Sampanthan.
