House agreed to the following Motion moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament-

Privilege

That this Parliament resolves that the recommendation of the report submitted by the Committee on Ethics and Privileges  on 06 June 2024 to the Parliament, after consideration of the  Question of Privilege raised by the Hon. Anuradha Jayaratne, Member of Parliament, on 09.02.2024 in Parliament regarding the conduct of Mrs. Athma Dilukshi Jayaratne as the Divisional Secretary of Gampola, Uda Palatha, by the Committee on Ethics and Privileges of the Fifth Session of the Ninth Parliament, be referred to the Attorney-General in terms of   Section 26 (1) (b) of the Parliament (Powers and Privileges) Act, No. 21 of 1953, for report.

Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Mechanism to respond in disasters” was proposed by the Hon. Lalith Varna Kumara.
