Presentation of Reports from the Committees

(i)    The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Children, Women and Gender was presented by the Hon. (Mrs.) Muditha Prishanthi, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.
(ii)    The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security was presented by the Hon. (Dr.) Major Pradeep Undugoda, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.
(iii)    The Two Reports of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Sustainable Development was presented by the Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma, the Chair of the Committee.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Damage Caused to Crops by Wild Animals” was proposed by the Hon. (Mrs.) Rajika Wickramasinghe.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1720 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 19th March 2024.
