Committee on High Posts

House agreed to a Motion moved by the Leader of the House of Parliament that notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order 128A, the Committee on High Posts shall consist of thirty one (31) members to be nominated by the Committee of Selection.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Salary increase for Government and Public sector employees as for a solution to prevailing cost of living crisis” was moved by Hon. K. D. Lalkantha.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1632 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 10th July 2008.
