PARLIAMENT

A Joint Security Exercise was conducted today the 14th of July 2020 in the Parliamentary Complex for the first time with the support of the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Police, Special Task Force, Colombo Fire Service and other related security agencies.

This exercise was conducted with the aim of familiarizing the plat of the Parliamentary Complex as well as to meet any exigencies. Conjoined to the Security Exercise, a Fire Fighting Exercise was conducted at the latter part of the exercise.

This exercise was conducted at the request of the Serjeant-at-Arms Mr. Narendra Fernando with the authorization of the Secretary-General of Parliament Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake.
