PARLIAMENT

The Speaker of the 8^th Parliament Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Deputy Speaker Hon. Ananda Kumarasiri and Deputy Chair of Committees Hon. Selvam Adaikkalanathan were felicitated at the Parliamentary Complex today, the 06^th of March 2020.

Prior to the initiation of the event, they posed for a group photo with the staff of Parliament.

Accordingly, tokens of appreciations were presented to the trio with the participation of the Secretary General of Parliament Mr. Dhammika Dassanayake, Deputy Secretary General and Chief of Staff Mr. Neil Iddawala, Assistant Secretary Generals Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera and Tikiri K. Jayatilake in the presence of the Parliament staff.

The Speaker of the 8^th Parliament Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Deputy Speaker Hon. Ananda Kumarasiri and Deputy Chair of Committees Hon. Selvam Adaikkalanathan thanked the Parliament staff for their support during their four and a half years in office.

Following the event, they also took time to engage in a cordial conversation with the Parliament staff.
