PARLIAMENT

Outgoing Ambassador of European Union to Sri Lanka H. E. Tung-Lai Margue paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of Parliament yesterday (October 17) at the Parliament Complex.

Mr. Ravinatha P. Aryasinha, Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Neil Iddawala, Acting Secretary General of Parliament , Mr. Eric LAVERTU, Ambassador of France, Mrs. Rita Giuliana Mannella, Ambassador of Embassy of Italy, Mrs. Tanja Gonggrijp, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Ms. Monica Svenskervd, Deputy Head of Mission, Royal Norwegian Embassy was also present at this occasion.

Later the Speaker hosted a farewell Luncheon in Honour of Ambassador of the European Union to Sri Lanka.
