Launch of the Second Stage of the Computer- Based Information Management System to evaluate the financial performance of the institutions coming under the supervision of the Committee on Public Accounts for the Financial Year 2018 and the presentation of awards to recognise the institutions that had achieved a high level of excellence in performance in the Financial Year 2017 was held in BMICH, Colombo on 05th of July 2019 with the participation of all the Heads of state institutions, Provincial Councils and Local Government Institutions. Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka was the Chief Guest and Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka and Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Chief Opposition Whip of Parliament and Hon. Members of the Committee graced the occasion. 108 Heads of State institutions who achieved a high level of excellence in performance for the financial year 2017 received awards at this ceremony.
