PARLIAMENT

The Parliament of Sri Lanka and the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Sri Lanka Branch are hosting a Commonwealth Regional Seminar on the Role of Parliamentarians in the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights.

The Seminar is taking place from 1 to 3 February 2016 at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel in Colombo. This occasion was graced by the Hon. Prime Minister, the Hon. Speaker, the Hon. Deputy Speaker, the Hon. Deputy Chairman of Committees, Hon. Ministers, Hon. Members of Parliament, Human Rights experts from Sri Lanka and Hon. Members of Parliaments from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Malaysia.
