The Committee on Parliamentary Business which met on April 4th, 2017 discussed the Business of the House for the First Sitting week for the month of May 2017 and agreed as follows:-

Wednesday, May 03rd 2017
01.00 p.m. to 01.30 p.m. Prime Minister's Question Time (4 Questions)
01.30 p.m. to 02.00 p.m. Questions for Oral Answers (8 Questions)
02.00 p.m. to 06.30 p.m. (i) Ten Orders under the Special Commodity Levy Act
(These Orders which were published in the Gazette Extraordinary Nos. 1994/20, 1996/50, 1998/5, 2000/85, 2002/29, 2003/43, 2006/41, 2007/38, 2007/44 and 2009/5 of 21.11.2016, 09.12.2016, 20.12.2016, 06.01.2017, 18.01.2017, 27.01.2017, 16.02.2017, 23.02.2017, 26.02.2017 and 07.03.2017 respectively were presented to the Parliament on 04.04.2017 and the motions thereon were published in the Addendum of Parliament No. 5(10) issued on 07.04.2017)
(ii) Two Resolutions under the Custom Ordinance
(These Resolutions were published in the Gazette Extraordinary Nos. 1995/37 and 2000/86 of 02.12.2016 and 06.01.2017 respectively were presented to the Parliament on 04.04.2017 and the motions thereon were published in the Addendum of Parliament No. 5(10) issued on 07.04.2017)
(iii) Three Orders under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act
(These Orders were published in the Gazette Extraordinary Nos. 1999/23, 2000/8 and 2003/22 of 27.12.2016, 03.01.2017 and 25.01.2017 respectively were presented to the Parliament on 05.04.2017 and the motions thereon were published in the Addendum of Parliament No. 5(10) issued on 07.04.2017)
(iv) Order under the Ports and Airports Development Levy
(This Order published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1992/51 of 11.11.2016 was presented to the Parliament on 05.04.2017 and the motion thereon was published in the Addendum of Parliament No. 5(10) issued on 07.04.2017)
(v) Economic Service Charges (Amendment) Bill
(This Bill was presented to the Parliament on 07.04.2017)
