Hon. Nishantha Perera,—To ask the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House —

(i) of the extent of immovable properties possessed by each of the local authority institution in the Galle District, separately;

(ii) of the extent of such immovable properties possessed legally and the extent possessed in a manner, which is not legal by each of the local authority institutions concerned, separately; and

(iii) whether action will be taken to legalize the properties which are possessed in an illegitimate manner by the local authority institutions referred to above if there are any such properties possessed in such manner?

(b) If not, why?
