Hon. W. H. M. Dharmasena,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)

(a) Will she inform this House of the —

(i) number of constructions that were initiated at government schools in the Moneragala District under the “Nearest School—Best School” project during the period of the Good-Governance Regime;

(ii) amount of money spent on the constructions concerned;

(iii) number of those that have been completed, out of the constructions referred to above the and the number of those that have not, separately; and

(iv) steps that will be taken to promptly complete the constructions that have not yet been completed?

(b) If not, why?
