Hon. (Dr.) M.L.A.M. Hizbullah,—To ask the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs,— (1)

(a)      Will he inform this House —

(i) of the names of the Arabic schools that have been registered with the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs;    

(ii) whether he is aware that different curricula are taught by the different Arabic schools as there is no common curriculum for those schools;

(iii) whether measures have been taken to introduce a common curriculum for the Arabic schools referred to above ;

(iv) if so, of the course of action that is in place in that regard; and

(v) of the date from which the opportunity will be given to follow the common curriculum and another subject of their choice?    

 (b) If not, why?
