Hon. Chanaka Madugoda,—To ask the Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House —

(i) whether he is aware that the employees recruited to the Ceylon Mineral Sands Limited, Pulmudai for the post of labourer on casual basis with effect from 01.07.2024 have not been paid any salaries or allowances so far;

(ii) of the reasons for not paying them salaries or allowances;

(iii) of the steps that will be taken to pay their salaries; and

(iv) of the measures that will be taken to ensure their job security?

(b) If not, why?
