Hon. Aruna Panagoda,—To ask the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) whether he is aware that a serious problematic situation has arisen because of some of the decisions taken by the previous government in acquiring lands for the construction of the Ruwanpura Expressway and in paying compensation for the lands so acquired; and

(ii) if so, whether measures will be taken to resolve the said problems?

(b) If not, why?
