Hon. S.M. Marikkar,— To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House —

(i) whether he is aware that the mosque which had existed in the Mahara Prison premises for a long time has not been functioning since 2019;

(ii) of the reasons for that; and

(iii) whether it is possible to provide the permission and facilities necessary to resume the functions of the mosque concerned?

(b) If not, why?
