Hon. Asitha Niroshana Egoda Vithana,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)

(a) Will he state whether parcels of land have been released to the Dharmayathana Protection Council Limited and other parties from the land located in Kothalawala Grama Niladhari Division in Kaduwela which belonged to the Land Reform Commission, on which ‘Silk Factory’ had existed;

(b) Will he state of the number of plots of land —

(i) alienated for residential purposes out of the remaining part of the land apart from those released as aforesaid;

(ii) set aside for roads and reservations;

(iii) set aside for common purposes; and

(iv) extent of each such plot in terms of units of measurements used in land survey?

(c) Will he further state —

(i) of the basis and time of alienating the lands referred to in (b) above;

(ii) of the value of a perch of the land at that time and at present, separately;

(iii) whether he will present the cadastral plan in which the plots of land mentioned in (b) (ii) above have been demarcated; and

(iv) of the purposes for which the plots of land available for common purposes are used at present?

(d) If not, why?
