Hon. Kins Nelson,—To ask the Minister of Environment,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House —

(i) of the number of rivers in Sri Lanka;

(ii) of the names of those rivers;

(iii) whether he knows that most of those rivers have been polluted;

(iv) if so, what measures will be taken to clean such rivers; and

(v) of the measures that will be taken to minimize the pollution of rivers;

(b) If not, why?
