Speaker's Chair (Old Parliament)
This chair was made, designed and carved by the prisoners and same was handed over to Parliament by the Department of Prisons in 1952. It is made from ebony and stands five feet high. The Government Emblem is fixed on top of the chair. This chair was used by the Speakers Sir Francis Molamure and Hon. Alhaj M. A. Abdul Bakeer Makar in the Chamber of the Old Parliament.
