PARLIAMENT

The Ministerial Consultative Committee on Defence chaired by H.E. the President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa met in Parliament today (08).

The President, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Defence, participated in the meeting where the Minister Chamal Rajapaksa, Ministers, State Ministers and Members of Parliament discussed a number of issues and proposals.

Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dassanayake, Defence Secretary, Major General (Retd.) Kamal Gunaratne, Commanders of the three-Armed Forces and the Inspector General of Police were also present at the meeting.
