PARLIAMENT

All arrangements have been made to hold the Fourth Regional Conference of the Select Committee of Parliament to Study and Report to Parliament its Recommendations to Ensure Communal and Religious Harmony in Sri Lanka on Monday the 17^th June 2019 at Kandyan Reach hotel Kurunegala from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. with the Chairmanship of the Hon.Speaker of Parliament and the participation of the religious clergy representing all religions, Ministers and Members of Parliament  representing the Committee /Kurunegala District, Senior Government Officials and the Civil Society Organizations representing the area.

A large number of topics of regional importance in relation to communal and religious harmony in Sri Lanka are expected to be taken up at this conference, the main topic of which is “A Sustainable Sri Lanka through Communal and Religious Harmony”.
