Vote of No-Confidence on the Hon. (Prof.) G. L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs was taken up and negatived after having taken a division (32 in favour; 139 against).
Motion at the Adjournment Time
Motion at the Adjournment time on “Colombo - Matara Express way: Nupe – Godagama irregularities in compensation” was moved by the Hon. Buddhika Pathirana.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1925 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Friday 8th October 2010.
