Two Privilege motions that the question of privilege arising out of the matters raised by Hon. Sarath Fonseka, M.P. in Parliament on 20th July 2010 and 04th August 2010, moved by the Hon. John Amaratunga, M.P. were referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order 127.

• Regulations under the Conventions against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act
  
  
• Order under the Drug Dependent Persons (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act

Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment time on “Medical graduates from foreign medical colleges: Act 16 Examination” was moved by the Hon. Shantha Bandara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1835 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Thursday 19th August 2010.
