(i) The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment was presented by the Hon. Anupa Pasqual, on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.
(ii) The Report 1 of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on An Open & Accountable Government was presented by the Hon. Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi, the Chair of the Committee.
(iii) The Report 2 of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on An Open & Accountable Government was presented by the Hon. Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi, the Chair of the Committee.

Adjourned debate on following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 3 of today’s Order Paper) were debated by the House. Item Nos. 2 and 3 were passed and Item No. 1 was adjourned for tomorrow.:-
(i) Vote of No Confidence against Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Health
(ii) Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill - with amendments - Division was taken at the Second Reading (103 in favour; 58 against)
(iii) Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Bill
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1917 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 8th September 2023.
