Main Business of the House for Today

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 15 and 17 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House.:-

(i) Two Regulations under the Civil Aviation Act
(ii)    Thirteen Regulations under the Merchant Shipping Act
(iii)    Amendment to the resolution for the constitution of the “Select Committee of Parliament to Investigate the Country's Economic Setback from November 2019 to date and Report to Parliament and Submit its Proposals and Recommendations in this regard”


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment time on “Promoting and developing of bamboo industry in Sri Lanka” was proposed by the Hon. Yadamini Gunawardena.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1700 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 7th June 2023.
