Main Business of the House for Today

(i)    Appropriation (Amendment) Bill

A Division was taken (120 in favour; 05 against) and the Second Reading of the Appropriation (Amendment) Bill was passed by the House.

The Appropriation (Amendment) Bill was passed with amendments by the House today.

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 2 to 7 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House.:-
(ii)    Two Regulations under the Foreign Exchange Act
(iii)    Order under the Foreign Exchange Act
(iv)    Resolution under the Customs Ordinance
(v)    Two Order under the Special Commodity Levy Act


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1807 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 06th September 2022.
