Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms moved the following Bills entitled-
(i)    Small Claims Courts’ Procedure - to provide for the procedure to be followed in small claims courts; and to provide for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
(ii)    Judicature (Amendment) - to amend the Judicature Act, No. 2 of 1978.
(iii)    High Court of the Provinces (Special Provisions) (Amendment) - to amend the High Court of the Provinces (Special Provisions) Act, No. 19 of 1990.
(iv)    Civil Procedure Code (Amendment) - to amend the Civil Procedure Code (Chapter 101).

The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved the following Bill entitled-

(v)    Petroleum Products (Special Provisions) (Amendment) - to amend the Petroleum Products (Special Provisions) Act, No. 33 of 2002.
