Presentation of Reports from the Committees

The Report and the Minutes of the Legislative Standing Committee on the Bill entitled “Sri Shakyasinharama Viharastha Karyasadhaka Sanvidanaya (Incorporation)” was presented by the Hon. Wasantha Yapabandara.

Privilege

The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by the Hon. Jayantha Ketagoda, M.P. on 10th March, 2022 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges in terms of the provisions of Standing Order 118 of the Parliament.


Main Business of the House for Today

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House:-

(i) Regulations under the Medical Ordinance
(ii) Regulations under the Convention against Doping in Sport Act


Questions at the Adjournment Time

Two Questions were asked by following Members of Parliament:-

(ii)    The Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri
