Presentation of Reports from the Committees

(i)    The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Trade was presented by the Hon. Lasantha Alagiyawanna, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee Hon. (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana.
(ii)    The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Technology was presented by the Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.
(iii)    The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Youth & Sports was presented by the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. Namal Rajapaksa.
(iv)    The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Justice was presented by the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. M .U. M. Ali Sabry.
(v)    The Report of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Trade was presented by the Hon. Lasantha Alagiyawanna, on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.

Ministerial Statements

The Hon. Shehan Semasinghe, State Minister of Samurdhi, Household Economy, Micro Finance, Self Employment and Business Development, on behalf of the Minister of Finance replied to the Questions raised by the Hon. Anura Dissanayaka under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 03.12.2021 regarding Shortage of foreign reserves.

Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “shortage of animal feed for Poultry farming and egg production” was proposed by the Hon. B. Y. G. Rathnasekara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1829 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 10th December 2021.
