Privilege

The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. M.A. Sumanthiran, M.P. on 6th August, 2021 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges under Standing Order No. 118 of the Parliament.

Today is the Sixth Allotted Day on the Second Reading Debate of the Appropriation Bill (2022).


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Pension scheme and social security programme for migrant workers” was proposed by the Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri.


Thereafter, the Second Reading Debate on the Appropriation Bill (2022) was adjourned at 1730 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Monday 22nd November 2021.
