Presentation of Bills
The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved the following Bills entitled-
(i) Prohibition of Anti-Personnel Mines - to provide for the implementation of the Convention on the prohibition of the use, stockpiling, production and transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their destruction; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
(ii) Judicature (Amendment) - to amend the Judicature Act, No. 2 of 1978.

The Hon. Buddhika Pathirana was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled
“Sahana Community Development Foundation (Incorporation)”

Motion at the Adjournment Time
Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Issues regarding Kuliyapitiya Teaching Hospital attach to medical faculty of Wayamba University” was proposed by the Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha.
