Presentation of Bills
The Hon. Minister of Labour moved the following Bills entitled
(i) Minimum Retirement Age of Workers - to provide for the minimum retirement age at which an employer may retire any worker and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
(ii) Termination of Employment of Workmen (Special Provisions) (Amendment) - to amend the Termination of Employment of Workmen (Special Provisions) Act, No. 45 of 1971.

Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Reports presented to the Parliament by the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) on 10.03.2021 and 06.04.2021” was proposed by the Hon. (Prof.) Charitha Herath.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1735 Hrs. until 1000 Hrs. on Monday 8th November 2021.
