Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Leader of the House of Parliament replied to the Question raised by the Hon. (Ven.) Athuraliye Rathana Thero under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 05.10.2021 regarding Malpractices at Department of Immigration & Emigration.


Privilege

The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, M.P. on 7th September, 2021 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges under Standing Order No. 118 of the Parliament.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Mid-Year Fiscal Position Report for the year 2021” was proposed by the Hon. Anura Dissanayaka.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1632 Hrs. until 1000 Hrs. on Thursday 21st October 2021.
