A : Meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business
Presentation of Papers
(i) Annual Performance Report of the Department of Export Agriculture for the year 2020
(ii) Annual Report of the Sugathadasa National Sports Complex Authority for the year 2018
(iii) Order made by the State Minister of Wildlife Protection, Adoption of Safety Measures including the Construction of Electrical Fences and Trenches and Reforestation and Forest Resource Development under Section 2(2) of the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance (Chapter 469) and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2222/62 of 09th April 2021
Presentation of Reports from the Committees
(i) The Report of the Select Committee of Parliament to consider the government business presented to Parliament by the public institutions that do not come under the purview of the existing Ministries was presented by the Hon. Johnston Fernando, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa.
(ii) The Third Report of the Committee on Public Accounts for the First Session of the Ninth Parliament was presented by the Hon. (Prof.) Tissa Vitarana, the Chair of the Committee.

Hon. Susil Premajayantha, State Minister of Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion replied to the above Question.
Presentation of Bills
(i) The Minister of Finance moved the Bill entitled
"Appropriation"
to provide for the service of the financial year 2022; to authorize the raising of loans in or outside Sri Lanka, for the purpose of such service; to make financial provision in respect of certain activities of the Government during that financial year; to enable the payment by way of advances out of the Consolidated Fund or any other fund or moneys, of or at the disposal of the Government, of moneys required during that financial year for expenditure on such activities; to provide for the refund of such moneys to the Consolidated Fund and to make provision for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved the following Bills entitled,
(ii) Youthful Offenders (Training Schools) (Amendment) - to amend the Youthful Offenders (Training Schools) Ordinance (Chapter 25).
(iii) Penal Code (Amendment) - to amend the Penal Code (Chapter 19).
Private Members’ Bills
(i) The Hon. Velu Kumar was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled
“UnV Foundation (Incorporation)”
(ii) The Hon. Imran Maharoof was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled
“Akurana Baithuz Zakath (Incorporation)”
Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 3 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House.:-
(i) Registration of Electors (Amendment) Bill - with amendments
(ii) Employees’ Provident Fund (Amendment) Bill
(iii) Order under the Employees’ Provident Fund Act

Motion at the Adjournment Time
