Committee on Parliamentary Business
That notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order 115 of the Parliament and the Resolution adopted by Parliament on 27th August 2020, the Committee on Parliamentary Business shall consist of the Speaker as the Chair, the Deputy Speaker, the Deputy Chairperson of Committees, the Leader of the House of Parliament, the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, the Chief Government Whip, the Chief Opposition Whip and Twenty-one (21) other Members to be nominated by the Committee of Selection.
Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 6 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House:-
(i) Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) (Temporary Provisions) Bill - with amendments
(ii) Two Orders under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act
(iii) Two Resolutions under the Customs Ordinance
(iv) Select Committee of Parliament to consider the government business presented to Parliament by the public institutions that do not come under the preview of the existing Ministries
