Hon. Ajith Gihan,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)

(a) Is he aware that the —

(i) Chilaw General Hospital has not been developed in a long time; and

(ii) patients visiting the above hospital are severely inconvenienced as a result?

(b) Will he inform this House —

(i) whether there is a plan to upgrade the aforesaid hospital into one consisting of all facilities; and

(ii) if so, of the course of action in order to achieve it?

(b) If not, why?
