Hon. (Dr.) Najith Indika,—To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House of the —

(i) number of political prisoners currently in detention;

(ii) period of detention of each political prisoner, the charges against them, and the Act used to detain them separately; and

(iii) strategy in place for the release of those political prisoners?

(b) If not, why?
