Hon. Sujeewa Dissanayake,—To ask the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) of the number of government sports complexes existing in Sri Lanka;

(ii) whether a government sports complex has been established in the Kurunegala District; 

(iii) if so, of the location of the sports complex referred to above;

(iv) of the place where the said sports complex had been proposed to be constructed;

(v) whether action was taken to construct the sports complex at another place; and

(vi) if so, of the reasons for that?

(b) Will he also inform this House—

(i) of the sports for which facilities were to be provided in the sports complex concerned;

(ii) of the sports for which facilities have been provided in the sports complex at present;

(iii) of the estimated cost for the construction of  the sports complex;

(iv) whether action will be taken to fully complete the construction of the sports complex; and

(v) if so, of the date on which the construction of the sports complex will be completed?

(c) If not, why?
