Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House of the —

(i) amount of paddy that was purchased by the Paddy Marketing Board in each year over the past ten (10) years, separately;

(ii) profit earned / loss that the Paddy Marketing Board incurred in each year during the aforesaid period separately;

(iii) amount of money spent by the Paddy Marketing Board on the renovation of buildings the period concerned; and

(iv) amount of money that is expected to be spent on the renovation of buildings in the future?

(b) If not, why?
