Hon. Chandima Hettiaratchi,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)

(a) Will he inform this House —

(i) of the number of hospitals belong to the Provincial Council situated within the Kalutara District;

(ii) whether the Provincial Council has any other centres/institutions which provide health services apart from hospitals in that District;

(iii) if so, what those centres/institutions are;

(iv) of the number of hospitals situated within the Kalutara District which belong to the line Ministry;

(v) whether the line Ministry has any other centres/ institutions which provide health services apart from hospitals in that District; and

(vi) if so, what those centres/institutions are?

(b) Will he also inform this House —

(i) whether treatment units for non-communicable diseases have been established in the centres/institutions referred to in (a) (ii) and (v) above;

(ii) if so, of the number of such units there are; and

(iii) of the places they are located?

(c) If not, why?
