Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development,—(1)

(a) Will he inform this House separately of the—

(i) economic growth rate in Sri Lanka for the last 30 years; and

(ii) projection for economic growth over the next 15 years specifying the reliance on agriculture sector, Industry sector and services sector?

(b)   Will he also inform this House—

(i) ten key sectors identified by the government for rapid development;

(ii) of the extent to which the government intends concentrating on and harness local investors including the projected value in Sri Lanka Rupees (SLR) and United States Dollars (USD) for the next 10 years; and

(iii) of the extent to which the government intends concentrating on and harness foreign investors including the projected value in Sri Lanka Rupees (SLR)  and United States Dollars (USD) for the next 10 years?

(c) If not, why?
