PARLIAMENT

The Deputy Speaker Hon. Ajith Rajapakse announced to Parliament today (29) that the following Members have been nominated by the Committee of Selection to serve in the House Committee, with the Speaker as the Chair, in terms of the provisions of the Standing Order 117 of the Parliament and the motion agreed to by Parliament on 10th August 2022.

Accordingly, Hon. A. L. M. Athaullah, Hon. Chandima Weerakkody, Hon. Premalal Jayasekara, Hon. (Dr.) V. Radhakrishnan, Hon. (Dr.) (Mrs.) Sudarshini Fernandopulle, Hon. J. C. Alawathuwala, Hon. Nimal Lanza, Hon. Piyal Nishantha De Silva, Hon. Jayantha Ketagoda, Hon. Charles Nirmalanathan, Hon. Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi, Hon. Kins Nelson, Hon. (Mrs.) Muditha Prishanthi and Hon. Marjan Faleel have been nominated by the Committee of Selection to serve in the House Committee.
