The following Bills(appearing as Item Nos. 34 and 35 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House with amendments.:-

(i)    Value Added Tax (Amendment) - Division was taken at the Third Reading (82 in favour; 41 against)
(ii)    Inland Revenue (Amendment) - Division was taken at the Third Reading (79 in favour; 36 against)


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Issues of Multi-purpose development task force employees” was proposed by the Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1829 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 13th December 2022.
