Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, State Minister of Finance on behalf of the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies made a Ministerial Statement regarding price increase of stationery and other school equipment.


Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved the Bill entitled

“Recovery of Possession of Premises Given on Lease”

to provide for the procedure relating to the recovery of possession of premises given on lease under a lease agreement; to regulate the recovery of arrears of lease rentals, service charges and liquidated damages; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
