Main Business of the House for Today

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 5 of today’s Order Paper) were approved by the House.:-

(i) Order under the Strategic Development Projects Act
(ii) Order under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act
(iii) Two Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act
(iv) Motion to appoint a Select Committee of Parliament to study the practical problems and difficulties that have arisen in relation to enhancing the rank in the Ease of Doing Business Index in Sri Lanka and make its proposals and recommendations


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1608 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 5th October 2022.
