Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Chief Government Whip moved the Bill entitled

“Bureau of Rehabilitation”

to provide for the establishment of a Bureau to be called and known as the Bureau of Rehabilitation; to regulate its powers, duties and functions and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


Votes of Condolence

(i)    Vote of Condolence on the demise of Her Majesty, the Queen Elizabeth II was taken up and completed.

(ii)    Continuation of the adjourned Vote of Condolence on the late Hon. Amarakeerthi Athukorala, Member of Parliament of the Ninth Parliament, was taken up and completed.
