Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament moved the Bill entitled

“Industrial Disputes (Special Provisions)”

to make special provisions to deem the Presidents of the Labour Tribunals as Additional Magistrates to hear, try, determine and dispose of all suits or prosecutions under the provisions of specified enactments and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “IMF Report” was proposed by the Hon. (Prof.) Ranjith Bandara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1737  Hrs. until 1000 Hrs. on Tuesday 19th April 2022.
